Tennant Releases Annual Corporate Sustainability Report

Key Sustainability Initiatives

We don’t like to brag, but…Tennant Company has published our 9th annual corporate sustainability report for 2017, and we’re proud of the progress we’ve made toward our key initiatives. Here are some of the highlights discussed in the report:

• In 2017, Tennant recycled more than 2,880 tons of industrial materials in our global operations
• We submitted our science-based carbon emissions targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (STBi) for validation
• We completed 19 emissions reduction projects that totaled a reduction of 1,185 mT of CO2e, including 2,850MW of renewable energy supply
• We announced a new Safety metric reflecting our progress against seven safety operating model competencies designed to drive our safety culture

Product design, emissions reduction targets, recycling progress, employee volunteering, and partnership in our communities – the report includes nearly 80 pages of Tennant activities in 2017 that helped us work toward our mission to create a cleaner, safer, healthier world.
