How to Use the Quote Templates:
The following files are available and MUST BE DOWNLOADED with MACROS ENABLED to ensure proper functionality (Microsoft Excel format). They include all products and accessories for distribution. These templates may be used to configure and quote a machine to a customer including financing and service options. The quote may then be used to place an order with customer service. Download and Save these files to your hard drive with the macros enabled to use in Excel. For HELP contact Tennant Customer Service @ (800) 553-8033 and ask for extension 2180
How to Download:
- Click on the file link below to open the file
- Select "Save from the File Download" popup box
- Select the "Save In" location where you want the file to reside from the "Save As" popup box
- Select "Save" from the "Save As" popup box
- Select "Open" from the "Download Complete" popup box
- Now you should verify Macros are enabled before working in the file
How to Enable Macros:
For Excel 2003, if you encounter a popup box while downloading or opening the file, select "Enable Macros". Otherwise, you can go to your top menu bar: Tools/Macros/Security and select "Medium" or "Low" to enable macros. For Excel 2007 or later, there is no popup box. Instead, you may get a security warning near the top of the Excel sheet saying that Macros have been disabled. You can enable it by clicking on 'Enable Content'.
How to Enable Macros:
- Help Tab (last tab). It includes how to use the form and who to contact for HELP.
- Start Here tab (first tab). If you scroll down on the Start Here tab, you can change the Seller Information to include your name and address as well as your terms. Everything on the Start Here tab will automatically link to the cover letter and the individual machine pages.
- The order placement information on the bottom allows you to easily leave the quote with the customer for them to complete and fax the order at a later time.
- Select "Save" from the "Save As" popup box
- Select "Open" from the "Download Complete" popup box
- Note that some of the steps described above may be slightly different in newer Windows operating versions.
