TennantTrue® Pad Selection Guide
A variety of pads are available for your Tennant autoscrubber or burnisher, including fine, regular, and coarse fibers. A full range of pads handle a wide variety of soil types, floor types, and cleaning applications. Use this guide to determine the most appropriate pads for your cleaning needs.
Burnishing Pads
Burnishing Pads repair finish and improve gloss and shine on harder floor finishes and in high traffic areas.
Natural Hair Blend Pad — Aggressive burnishing for hard finishes, heavily trafficked or worn finish. Removes marks and scuffs while polishing.
Scrubbing Pads
Scrubbing Pads remove 1-4 coats of finish with water or neutral cleaner for a fresh new surface ready for recoating.
Green Turf Pad — Ideal for aggressively cleaning deep grout lines and uneven floor surfaces.
Surface Prep Pad — Heavy duty scrubbing for 2- 4 coat removal prior to recoating. Reduces the need for chemical floor strippers.
Stripping Pads
Stripping Pads remove finish, sealer and contaminants from floor surfaces.
Black High Productivity Pad — Our most aggressive pad. Removes heavy buildup, stains, finish, sealer and contaminants.
Brown Stripping Pad — Conformable stripping pad for uneven floors.
Cleaning and Polishing Pads
Cleaning Pads and Polishing Pads are designed for daily use to help remove surface soils without dulling surfaces. Use daily to remove light soil, scuffmarks and black heel marks and for light scrubbing.
White Polishing Pad — Used for light cleaning to help remove soil and scuff marks with minimal dulling of finish.
Melamine Pad — A specialty pad ideal for cleaning tile and grout or other problematic areas without the use of harsh chemicals.
Red Buffer Pad — Designed for everyday cleaning and light scrubbing to remove light soil and scuff marks without removing or dulling finish.
3M™ Clean & Shine Polishing Pad — A two-sided pad designed for everyday cleaning and dustless polishing. Effective with no added chemicals.
Blue Cleaning Pad — Heavy duty scrubbing for 1-2 coat removal prior to recoating.
Diamond Floor Pads
Diamond Floor Pads clean and condition worn and dull concrete, marble, terrazzo and other porous stone flooring.
3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Purple High Shine Diamond Pad — Diamond coated floor pads for cleaning and polishing stone and concrete flooring.
3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Sienna High Shine Pad — A heavy-duty pad, diamond impregnated, conformable for uneven floors. It removes 2–4 coats prior to recoating.
